July 30-August 3
Women Leaders in STEM camps focus on encouraging students to explore their interests in STEM related fields. Students will tackle LEGO robotics challenges, while learning to code, problem solve, and work in a team. Teams will design their own robots to complete challenges. We will be true engineers and computer scientists - identifying the challenge, making a plan, building a prototype robot and testing, testing, testing… then improving our designs and testing again! The students will learn to program the robots, and take an in-depth look at coding and programming. Then, we will learn about women in STEM fields who are working together to solve today’s problems. No previous experience in LEGO, robotics, or STEM is necessary. Come as you are! All students welcome, boys and girls. Limited to 12 students.
