Rivendell offers enrichment classes on many school days off and during school breaks. Fill your day with incredible projects, from painting and sculpture to robots and digital music, photos and video, creative writing, literature, science and more. Classes run 8:00am to 3:30pm (no aftercare provided). Students should bring a snack, a sack lunch, sunscreen, and their imagination and curiosity! All classes are for ages 5-12, non-Rivendell students are welcome. Age restrictions are firm and based on the camper's age as of the first day of the class. For multi-day classes, students may sign up for choose which days to attend (minimum of two days required). Payment must be made online by credit card (Visa and Mastercard only).
Registration closes 48 hours prior to the beginning of the 8:00 am class, so sign up early! Please note: Cancellations must also be made 48 hours prior to the beginning of the 8:00 am class to receive a refund. Winter Break registration and cancellation is earlier; please see below.

Do you love cartoons? Do you love to draw? Then come join us in exploring the art of animation! We will compare cartoon character features, learn how to draw expressions, and create our own characters! Taught by Madeline Cook. Register here.

Art in Nature
We will go on a nature walk in the neighborhood, collect all sorts of interesting objects found in nature and create projects such as nature sculptures, sun print cards, watercolor and pressed leaf art! Taught by Irina Burlacu. Register here.

Hands on Science
Science Experiments! Do you want to do some unique and absolutely cool science experiments this fall? Some of the experiments are corny goo, colorful sugar, crystal star, invisible ink, swirly colors, ocean and tornado in a bottle and more. Taught by Irina Burlacu. Register here.

Students will have hands-on instruction and learn the basic folds of traditional Japanese paper folding, and according to interests and skill level, they will be assisted in pursuing the completion of many paper models. Taught by Michael Ellingson. Register here.
