I came to Rivendell in the summer of 2026 as a part of the summer camp team. I was so impressed with the environment and overall philosophy of the school that I decided to never ever leave! I am teaching Preschool alongside my wonderful teaching team.

I relocated to Fort Collins from Texas after 24 years. During that time I taught Early Preschool/Preschool, was in administration and at a Montessori School totaling 15 plus years.

I believe in taking time each day to get to know each child in my care, because I want to know the whole child. Understanding them and teaching according to their needs is just as important as academics. The first years of a child's life are so important to me and I truly believe in helping families navigate through those years.

I am the mother of 4 wonderful, creative musical children. I spend my free time with my children exploring Colorado, fiber artistry and learning to speak Mandarin.
