Camp Hours:
- 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM daily.
- Pickup: 3:30-3:45 PM.
- Doors do not open before 8:00 AM.
- No extended care before or after camp.
Open to All Children:
- Children do not need to be Rivendell students to attend.

Registration
To register you will need:
- Your child's name and emergency contact information.
- Additional forms for preschoolers (immunization and health appraisals)
- Additional forms for campers who require medications during camp (including Epi-Pens).
Important:
- All forms must be completed, signed by a healthcare provider, and submitted online or returned to Rivendell before the first day of camp.
- Campers cannot attend without completed forms.
- Preschool campers must be fully toilet trained (no diapers or pull-ups).
Registration Options:
- Preschoolers: 3, 4 or 5 days per week (subject to availability).
- School-age campers: Must enroll for the full one- or two-week session as listed; partial sessions are not available.
Age Requirements:
- Based on the camper's age as of the first day of the camp session.
Registration Deadline:
- Camp registration closes the Friday morning prior to the start of each camp.
Wait List Policy:
- If your child is first on a wait list and a spot opens up, we will contact you.
- You will have 24 hours to accept the spot.
- If we do not hear from you within 24 hours, we will proceed to the next child on the wait list.
Payment
- Deposit Fees:
- Ages 5-12: $50 per camp.
- Preschool: $15 per day.
- Deposit fees are non-refundable.
- Payments are made via credit card at registration.
- Full payment or installments for remaining camp fees will be paid by credit card or ACH (automatic withdrawal).
- Installments are automatically charged on the due dates (dates will be specified upon checkout).
For alternative payment methods, please register first using the installment plan with your credit card, then contact the Rivendell Camps staff at rivendell-camps@rivendell-school.org or 970-493-9052 to make arrangements.
Cancellations and Refunds
All deposit fees due upon registration. Deposit fees are non-refundable.
- Cancel 7 or more days before the first day of camp: Full refund less deposit.
- Cancel less than 7 days before: 50% refund less deposit.
- Cancellations on or after the first day: No refund.
- Transfers: Campers may move to another camp if space is available. The $50 deposit fee can be credited toward a new camp registration if you switch to a different session.
- The deposit fee made at registration cannot be credited toward other fees, installment payments, or refunded if a camp is cancelled without enrolling in a replacement session.
Non-refundable deposits and cancellation fees help us manage waitlists and cover staff time for registration processing.
What to Bring
- Lunch: Should be in a lunch box or suitable container to keep items cold if necessary; no refrigerator or microwave will be available.
- Morning snack. Non-perishable items recommended.
- Refillable water bottle.
- Camp-specific gear: Backpacks, comfortable walking shoes, etc. (see camp descriptions).
- Sunscreen: Please apply in the morning before arrival. Staff will help students re-apply in the afternoon. Families may choose to send personal sunscreen if they do not wish to use the sunscreen provided by Rivendell.
Treats: Popsicles or Otter Pops are offered weekly; please notify teachers if your child cannot have them. Families may choose to provide alternatives.
Pickup
- Pick up by 3:45 PM.
- Late fee: $25 per half hour after 3:45 PM.
- We do not offer aftercare for summer camps.
