The fun and learning doesn't stop when school lets out! Various after-school (and before-school) activities and classes are offered throughout the year. From robots to yoga to music to chess, there is a class for you.
Students attending after school activities at Rivendell, should first go out to aftercare. Instructors will come to aftercare to check-out students for their activities. For activities beginning right after school at 3:30, you will not be charged an aftercare fee. Please remind your child to go to aftercare first if they have an after school activity.
Please note: All communication regarding after school activities (such as schedules, fees, etc.) is directly through the after-school activity provider (via email/phone listed below), not through Rivendell. Medical information should also be communicated to the activity provider, see below.

Dungeons and Dragons style gaming for kids! League of Wayfinders is an after-school enrichment program that takes kids on a Hero’s Journey of self-discovery. We incorporate education, empathy building, and critical thinking into a rich pen-and-paper role playing game experience. With a custom-built game built in classrooms over 13 years, we teach kids to craft interesting characters, roleplay their hero as part of a team, and create their own adventures to run with their friends. Kids learn to make sure they are being fun, fair, and understandable while rolling dice. Cheer and Dance Connection

Are you ready for a NEW Cheerleading/Dance program at Rivendell School? Come join the TCDC Rivendell Cheer/Dance Team. Kids will flip over this high-energy Recreational Cheer/Dance Spirit Team. If your child is looking for a fun way to learn dances, tumbling, jumps, and stunting through sportsmanship and teamwork, this team is for you. Minecraft LEGO® Robotics with Play-Well
Fridays, 3:30-5:00 in Alison's Room, Oct 31-Nov 21

Middle Kids and Older Kids
Venture into the world of Minecraft while learning to build and program robots in this introductory Robotics class using the LEGO® Spike Prime® system. Join us as we learn basic programming skills while traveling through biomes, harvesting resources, and battling the Ender Dragon. Students will work in pairs to build LEGO® based projects incorporating motors, sensors and lights as we adventure with Steve! Register with Play-Well here.
