Join Alison and Carol as we celebrate our furry friends! We will pounce into their world, learning about wild and pet cats alike. We’ll draw, write about and play with these beautiful and playful critters. Our class will be taking a field trip to visit the NOCO Cat Cafe in Loveland. We will see their kittens and learn about how they help cats find their furever homes! And we will, of course, have a stuffed animal adoption at the end of the week! Register here.

Students inevitably end up practicing reading with fluency and expression while learning about the story elements: characters, setting, plot, theme, and problem & solution. Some things will have directions and some things will be completely your own creations. Each day there will be something new to learn about and something new to make. It’s time to experience what it’s like to garden through exploring dirt, different kinds of plants, and how the planet and people work together to help things grow. We will embark on a journey in nature and experience one of the earth’s most majestic creatures, birds. The world of birds is vast, with so many different species there is so much to explore. It will be a beautiful week in the neighborhood as we explore different kinds of puppets and make finger, stick, and string puppets.
