Spend five fun-filled days on a journey to the Land of the Rising Sun. Campers will make their passports, plot their trip, and take a virtual tour of Japan via webcam. Kiddos will be introduced to the art of origami and haiku, traditional Japanese food using chopsticks, shibori (Japanese dyeing method), Kanji (pictographs) and Katakana (conversion of English name to Japanese), and participate in a dance ceremony called nihon buyo using traditional dress and materials.
